Two Brains, One You
AuDHD — having both Autism and ADHD can feel like living with two brains that don't always agree. One part of you craves routine and predictability. The other gets bored and wants novelty. One needs quiet and calm. The other seeks stimulation.
It's exhausting. And it's made even harder when therapists, doctors, and even the people closest to you only understand one condition or the other, often not both together. Whether you have formal diagnoses, partial diagnoses, or you've figured it out yourself - you're welcome here.
I'm Amy, and I offer person-centred counselling for adults who identify as AuDHD. I use a person-centred approach, which means our sessions are led by you and what you need. There's no agenda, no homework, no pressure to be anywhere other than where you are right now. Just a space where you can finally feel seen, heard, and understood.
I offer a holistic, gender-inclusive space where we explore the 'internalised' traits of AuDHD that many have had to mask for years. With additional training in aphantasia, GSRD (Gender, Sex, and Relationship Diversity), and neuro-affirming practices, I ensure my clients receive care that is current, research-led, and deeply human.

First session
We explore what's brought you here. This is your space - there's no judgement and no expectations
Ongoing support
Weekly or fortnightly sessions. In order to make sessions as accessible as possible I offer 50 minute and 80 minute slots. We work at your pace on whatever matters most to you.
Sessions are available online via Google Meet.

Sessions are £70 for 50 minutes and £100 for 80 minutes. I offer very limited concession and low cost spaces, when enquiring please let me know you are interested in these.

Absolutely. If you identify with autistic traits or suspect you're AuDHD, that's enough. Formal diagnosis isn't required.

That's a valid place to be. We can explore that together without any pressure to reach a conclusion.

I understand ADHD from the inside and have lived experience of supporting and working with AuDHDers. I know what it’s like to have a brain that goes 100 miles an hour, desperately wants to find the perfect organisational system of spreadsheets and notebooks but never uses any. I know how hard it can be to explain to your friends how you’re an introverted extrovert and that it’s a thing.
I work with you to build strategies and systems that work with your brain rather than ‘shoulds’ and ‘coulds’. I don’t give advice or guidance, I’ll always work collaboratively with you and make suggestions or give ideas through an informed and researched approach.
If you want to stim, fidget, draw, doodle, crochet in sessions - have at it. This space is designed to be as authentically you as possible. You can always ask for changes and adaptations.

No, I cannot diagnose ADHD, Autism or AuDHD. I would refer to guidance by ADHD UK and National Autistic Society on right to choose and private providers.

Yes. Research now recognises that autism and ADHD commonly co-occur. For a long time, diagnostic criteria prevented dual diagnosis — but that's changed. Your experience is real and valid.

That's entirely up to you. I find that clients really start to feel the benefit of therapy after around 6-8 sessions. Some people come for a few months, others for longer. There's no minimum commitment, I don’t take up front block bookings.
